Visitation

Decatur Correctional Center is transitioning from SignUpGenius to ICSolutions’ platform, “The Visitor,” for scheduling in‑person visitation. More information on visitation is available here.  If you have questions about the transition, contact the facility visit coordinator. 

Key Transition Dates and Information:

  • Beginning September 14, 2026,  ICSolutions’ The Visitor will become available for scheduling future in-person visits. The first available time slot shown on ICSolutions’ The Visitor will be October 14, 2026. 
  • Visitors must schedule visits occurring October 14, 2026, or later through ICSolutions’ The Visitor. Continue to use SignUpGenius to schedule visits occurring between September 14 and October 13, 2026.
  • Visitors will not be able to schedule new visits on SignUpGenius after October 13, 2026. The final time slot available on SignUpGenius will be on October 13, 2026. 
  • SignUpGenius will be fully disabled for Decatur Correctional Center after October 13, 2026.

Video Visitation

Video visitation hours are Sunday through Saturday 8:30a to 11:00a, 1:00p to 2:30p and 5:00p to 9:00p. Visitors should log on 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.

Facility Information

The mission of the Decatur Correctional Center includes providing a continuum of programs and services to help individuals in custody re-establish and strengthen their relationships with their children and enhance their ability to grow within the family structure. The facility offers individuals in custody a variety of programs aimed at achieving these goals that also address the diverse needs of the individuals in custody, including medical, social, psychological and educational needs. All programs are intended to equip the individuals in custody for successful re-entry.

On Jan. 24, 2000, the Decatur Correctional Center received its first female individuals in custody. The facility is a minimum-security female facility with eight dormitory style-housing units.
