Individual in Custody Deposit Services
Individuals in Custody may receive money via GTL (ConnectNetwork/ViaPath), JPAY, Western Union, or money order. Money orders must be sent directly to the lockbox, NOT to the facility - see information below.
Electronic Payments
Funds up to $5,000 may be sent to individuals in custody via the following methods, except Money Gram. There is a maximum limit of $3,000 for all MoneyGram transactions.
- GTL (ConnectNetwork/ViaPath)
- JPAY
- Money Gram locations using the Blue Money Gram Express Payment Form - receiving code is 7364
- Send2Corrections (service provided by Western Union)
For all electronic transfer of funds, the individual in custody IDOC number and incarcerated last name must be used. Funds sent via GTL, JPAY, and Western Union are anticipated to be applied to the individual in custody's account within 24-48 business hours. Funds sent via Money Gram are anticipated to be applied to the individual in custody's account within 72-96 business hours. Funds sent during an individual in custody’s transfer between facilities may take longer than 24-96 business hours.
Money Orders
Individuals in custody may receive money orders not exceeding $999.99. Money orders must be sent with the lockbox deposit slip and complete with the individual in custody’s name, IDOC individual in custody number, sender’s name, and address. Deposit slips can be obtained at each facility or here. The money orders should be made payable to JPay and sent with the deposit slip to: PO Box 260250 Hollywood, FL 33026.
