Unpaid Internship/Volunteer Services

The Illinois Department of Corrections welcomes individuals who wish to provide volunteer services or participate in unpaid internships.

In order to begin the process, you must first contact the facility where you wish to provide service. The facility Warden will review and determine if unpaid internships or volunteer opportunities are available.

If the Warden approves the request, the below required documents will be completed to proceed.
