Deputy Chief - Parole District 1 South & East

Marcus Ivy | Deputy Chief District 1 South and East

Marcus Ivy was named Deputy Chief of the Parole Division for the Illinois Department of Corrections in August 2022. In his position, he oversees the supervision of parole staff and parolees on the South and East side of Cook County and all of Will County. 

Deputy Chief Ivy began his career as a Correctional Officer at Stateville Correctional Center in 1999 and throughout the years promoted to various positions in Corrections including, Corrections Residence Counselor, Senior Parole Agent, and Parole Commander. 

Deputy Chief Ivy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1998 and a Master of Arts degree in May 2012.
